Visited November 2019Very beautiful, fantastic pool area. The staff were fantastic and very welcoming. The yoga class was very good and well attended classes, also volleyball was great fun. The fitness area was the best we've seen at any hotel and we put it to good use as being all inclusive we ate far too much. Being out of season there was plenty of space specially in the pools 17 degrees. The heated pool was very family friendly.
Highs
- A gorgeous retreat in the sunniest area of the La Palma island, the retreat sits on the sea amongst banana trees underneath a backdrop of sweeping mountains.
- Numerous exciting and entertaining activities within the resort, but an equally great deal of excursions lie within driving distance from the complex too.
- Multiple swimming pools around the large complex meaning there’s more than enough room for all guests to enjoy diving in the turquoise waters under the sun.
- On the tropical island of La Palma, you can expect hot weather all year round, even during the winter months with temperatures hitting comfortable mid-20°s.
- All rooms are equipped with a balcony with stunning views of the surroundings with option to face the sea.
- Up to 9 group activities offered each day with a wide variety of activities to choose from including Functional, Core, Pilates, T.B.T, Combat Training, Spinning, Yoga, Pump, Step, Zumba, GAP, Pilates (Subject to weekly schedule & availability)
Lows
- Fast WiFi, but only free in certain sections of the resort, extra charges apply for usage in rooms.
- None of the local landmarks, cities or supermarkets are within walking distance, but car hire and taxis are available to combat this.
- The stunning volcanic ridge: The Cumbre Vieja, is indeed active but dormant with the last eruption occurring in 1971.
